Yvette has always been interested in creating a print of what she was able to view; to be able to go back to it at some point. So, while still in the later years of Secondary School she started her photographic journey. Her nickname is “Steady Hands”, as she has come up without the aid of a tripod or monopod over the years; which she thinks is a good thing. It taught the principle of getting your stance and holding your breath. Coming from the age of film it has also taught her to really think about her composition. Yvette has won gold and bronze awards for her work. Some of her work can be found in the US, UK and New Zealand
