Markley is a Barbadian photographer whose interest in photography began in 2009 after a friend invited him to take a class…it was not love at first sight. He later joined the Barbados Photographic Society and was exposed to its various programs and talented members; this influenced various aspects of his work. He has served on the executive committee of the BPS and has been actively involved in its various educational programs for the past 15 years.

He enjoys various genres of photography, shooting historical sites, portraits, sports, nature, and wildlife, capturing the beauty found in those special moments. He has shared his work through his participation in several exhibitions over the years. His motto is “Interesting subjects get shot…whether they move or not!
