Cheryl Small

Having worked in accounting all of her adult life, this mother of two decided to tap into her creative side after becoming an empty nester and took up photography about seven years ago. After first joining the BPS and other Photography Facebook groups, the need to be around and learn from other like-minded persons led her to becoming a paid member of the Barbados Photographic Society where she could benefit from training, workshops, local field trips and overseas photography tours and rub shoulders with the more experienced photographers. Inspired by photographers such as Martin Osner from South Africa and Hugh Walker from Barbados, her main interest is in Landscape and Fine Art Photography and when not on field trips with the BPS, can be found wandering about Barbados by herself capturing images of anything that catches her eye.
