The training takes place in four three-hour sessions which focus on how to use and control the camera as follows:

• Cell Phone Camera vs DSLR camera
• Understanding your Camera controls
• Controlling exposure – The Exposure Triangle
• Depth of Field
• Lenses: Focal Length, Lens Types and Perspective
• Focal Point/Focus modes
• Measuring light/metering/The histogram
• Basic photo editing
• Practice exercises to reinforce the above topics
