The training takes place in four three-hour sessions, which focus on how to use and control the camera as follows:
- Cell Phone Camera vs DSLR Camera
- Understanding your Camera controls
- Controlling exposure – The Exposure Triangle
- Depth of Field
- Lenses: Focal Length, Lens Types and Perspective
- Focal Point/Focus modes
- Measuring light/metering/The histogram
- Basic photo editing
- Practice exercises to reinforce the above topics
