Portrait Photography

This workshop is presented by Michael Evans, an accredited associate photographer, who specialises in art portraits and sports.

Portrait photography is more than just a snapshot of a person. It’s about capturing their essence – their personality, emotions, and story.  Photographers use lighting, posing, and composition to create a compelling image. The workshop provides the opportunity to learn from someone with vast experience in his field.

About the Presenter:

Michael Evans is an Accredited and Associate photographer of the Portrait System. He has been doing photography since 2015 and got into portraiture during the Covid-19 pandemic.  He became Accredited in 2022 and is working his way towards a Master.

Special Instructions:

Recommended for shooting are lenses between 50 and 100mm or prime 50, 85 etc.
