AnnMarie Massiah

“My goal is to use my photography as a therapeutic tool to transport the viewer to a better place”.

Ann Marie’s passion for photography led her to study the art and science of photography at Barbados Community College and her artistic vision and creativity were further developed when she obtained a certificate in “Seeing Through Photographs” from the Museum of Modern Art. Additionally, Ann Marie loves to capture the beauty of nature although she appreciates all genres of photography. She also enjoys Field Trips and Photo Walks and has exhibited her work in the Barbados Photographic Bajan Life Virtual Online Exhibition and the 2nd Annual Caribbean Photo Walk. Ann Marie is a Counsellor/Social Worker, and her mantra is self-care “You can’t pour from an empty cup”. In her free time, Ann Marie enjoys travelling, listening to music, dancing, and exercising.
