The Barbados Photographic Society (BPS) is proud to announce that it has officially been invited to participate in the 2026 edition of the World Photographic Cup (WPC), the. prestigious international “Olympics of Photography.” This historic invitation marks a major milestone for photography in Barbados, giving local photographers the opportunity to showcase their work on the global stage. The competition awards medals to outstanding individual images while recognizing the national team with the highest combined score.


Team Barbados – Representing the Island
The national team representing Barbados at the WPC 2026 is made up of photographers from across the island who are members of the Barbados Photographic Society and practice photography across all genres on a semi-professional or professional basis:
